Welcome to LostFoundExpress. By accessing our site and using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

These terms and conditions govern the access, use and services provided by LostFoundExpress, available via our online platform on Shopify. Our service consists of collecting and dispatching lost and found items from public places (airports, hotels, taxis, bed and breakfasts, etc.) to the address indicated by the customer.

 

  1. Use of our Services
  • Eligibility: By using this site and our services, you declare that you are of legal age to enter into a contract and that you are responsible for the information you provide.
  • Accuracy of information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding the location of your item, as well as the delivery address.
  • Restriction of service: We reserve the right to refuse service if we consider that the information provided is inaccurate or that the nature of the item is illegal or dangerous.

 

  1. Order process
  • Ordering: Once your item has been found, you can order a shipping service online via our website. The process is simple: you indicate the location of the item, the delivery address and make the payment.
  • Payment: All payments are made online via our Shopify platform, using the secure payment methods available. Shipping rates are indicated before the order is validated.
  • Confirmation: Once the order has been confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation with the shipping details.

 

  1. Rates and charges
  • Service charges: Collection and shipping charges vary depending on the destination and size of the item. The final rate is displayed during the order process before validation.
  • Taxes: All applicable taxes will be included in the total amount of the order.

 

  1. Delivery times
  • Collection and dispatch: We endeavour to collect and dispatch your items as soon as possible after validation of the order. In general, delivery times are 1 to 3 working days for France and 2 to 4 days for international shipments within the European Union.
  • Delivery delays: LostFoundExpress cannot be held responsible for delivery delays due to circumstances beyond our control (strikes, bad weather, logistical problems, etc.).

 

  1. Return and Refund Policy

Given the nature of our service, once the order has been validated, payments are final. No returns or refunds will be accepted after confirmation of collection of the item. Please refer to our Returns and Refunds Policy for further details.

 

  1. Customer's responsibility
  • Delivery address: It is your responsibility to provide a complete and correct delivery address. LostFoundExpress will not be responsible for failed deliveries due to errors in the information provided.
  • Nature of the item: You must ensure that the item to be shipped is legal, non-hazardous and complies with all applicable regulations. We reserve the right to refuse to accept items that do not comply.

 

  1. Liability of LostFoundExpress
  • Limitation of liability: We accept no liability for damage, loss or alteration after the item has been dispatched. While we take every precaution to ensure that the item reaches you in good condition, the carrier is liable from the time of dispatch.
  • Force majeure: LostFoundExpress cannot be held responsible for delays or failures in delivery due to unforeseen events or circumstances of force majeure.

 

  1. Applicable Law and Disputes

These terms of service are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the use of our service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
