At LostFoundExpress, we do everything we can to ensure that your lost items are collected quickly and shipped securely. We have a clear shipping policy in place to ensure a smooth and efficient service experience.
- Shipping process
- Collection of the item: Once you have placed your order on our platform, we organise the collection of your item from the location where it has been found (airports, hotels, taxis, stations, etc.).
- Secure packaging: Each item is carefully packaged to ensure that it arrives in good condition at the delivery address.
- Express shipping: We offer fast shipping with reliable logistics partners to ensure your item is delivered to you as quickly as possible.
- Delivery times
- Collection: The item is generally collected within 24 to 48 hours of order confirmation.
- Dispatch: Once the item has been collected, the delivery time depends on the destination. For deliveries in mainland France, delivery is generally made within 1 to 2 working days. For international deliveries within the European Union, the delivery time may vary between 2 and 4 working days. For international deliveries outside the European Union, the delivery time will depend on customs processing time and it is not possible to give an indicative delivery time.
- Possible delays: In the event of unforeseen circumstances (extreme weather conditions, customs restrictions, etc.), delivery delays may occur. In such cases, we will keep you informed by email.
- Delivery zones
- We deliver throughout France and internationally. Delivery times may vary according to location. Some destinations may incur additional delivery charges.
- Exceptions: We do not deliver to PO boxes.
- Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated according to the destination and the weight of the item. The exact costs will be displayed when you complete your order on our Shopify website.
- Domestic shipping: For deliveries in France, shipping costs are fixed and vary according to the weight of the item.
- International shipping: International shipping costs are calculated according to the destination (European Union or outside the European Union) and the size of the item.
- Tracking your order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking number. You will be able to track the progress of the delivery directly via our platform or that of our logistics partner.
- Delivery problems
If you do not receive your item within the estimated delivery time, please contact us by email. We will do everything we can to help you and resolve the problem quickly.
- Items not collected or undeliverable
In the event that the delivery address provided is incorrect or incomplete, and the item is deemed ‘undeliverable’ by our carrier, the customer will be responsible for return shipping charges and new shipping charges.
